The South Boston Neighborhood House is seeking an energetic person with a genuine enthusiasm for working with older adults to fill the following positions in our Senior Services Program. We are looking for qualified individuals to join our dedicated team of human service professionals committed to enhancing family and neighborhood life in South Boston.
Senior Program Activity Coordinator:
The Senior Program Activity Coordinator works under the supervision of the Senior Advocate/Program Director and in collaboration with the Senior Program Team to design, implement and evaluate a high-quality, comprehensive senior program that will enhance the daily lives of the participants. The Activities Coordinator is responsible for overall program quality. He/she is obligated to meet and maintain standards set by the South Boston Neighborhood House and all funding sources.
Activity Coordinator must be at least 18 years of age and meet the following set of requirements:
Associates Degree and currently working toward a Bachelors Degree in Gerontology, Psychology, Sociology or a related field
Experience and a genuine interest in working with the senior population is a must
Valid Driver’s license and willing to transport seniors on trips in the SBNH Van
Part time hours (20-25 hours) between 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Mon. – Fri.
Permanent (after sixth month probationary period)
