The South Boston Neighborhood House is seeking an energetic person with a genuine enthusiasm for working with children to fill the following positions in our Full-day Preschool Early Education Program. We are looking for qualified individuals to join our dedicated team of human service professionals committed to enhancing family and neighborhood life in South Boston.
We are currently looking to fill the following position: Preschool Lead Teacher
The Lead Teacher is accountable for the planning and implementation of the overall program and is expected to know and be known to all children and families. Open, honest communication must be maintained in order to ensure the quality of the program.
Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) Lead Teacher qualified:
Lead Teacher must be at least 18 year of age and meet the following set of requirements:
Associates Degree and currently working toward a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a related field
3+ years of early childhood experience
Preferred: Current, valid Driver’s license and willing to obtain a 7-D Driver’s license (to transport children in the SBNH Van (preferred)
Full time hours (40 hours) between 7:30am – 5:30pm Mon. – Fri.
Permanent (after sixth month probationary period)
