Family Engagement Serving Families Throughout The South Boston Community
Family Engagement is designed to help support our most isolated families. The focus of Family Engagement is school readiness and parent support, empowering parents to be their child’s first teacher and strengthening the family unit. Program components include Literacy events, Read & Rise program, Moms and Music, Countdown to Kindergarten, Young Parents Nurturing program, the Parenting Education and Support Program, Parent Café series, Welcome Baby visits and infant massage classes, and other community wide events and activities.
Program Goals
School Readiness (for both children and parents) empowering parents to be their child’s first teacher
Parenting Support (in accordance with the State’s recognized evidence based Strengthening Families Programming).

Price
All Programs are FREE and we typically provide refreshments, child care and transportation as necessary.
